On June 11, the Forbes Development conference took place at the Mayachok Event Hall restaurant complex.

The event brought together developers, architects, investors, and government representatives to discuss Ukraine’s new demographic map, urban planning reforms, competition among communities for investment, and the role of the state in creating conditions for territorial development.

DIM was represented at the event by Chief Financial Officer Halyna Kym, who participated as a speaker. She moderated the panel discussion titled “A Fresh Perspective: Ukrainian Conditions for Development Through a Foreign Lens.”

The panel explored cases from international colleagues on how decisions are made to develop projects in a country at war, and how the foreign approach to development differs from the Ukrainian one.

  • The American company White Star Real Estate, which has delivered more than 50 development projects in Central and Eastern Europe since 1997, signed a memorandum in July 2025 with UkraineInvest and Bucha City Council on the construction of Bucha Techno Garden, a 41-hectare industrial and logistics park. The investment amounts to €200 million.
  • The Austrian company iC consulenten has been consulting international donor projects in Ukraine for more than 10 years, including projects supported by the EBRD, IFC, KfW, and USAID. The company assesses whether a project meets international standards and whether it can receive financing.

Participation in professional discussions of this level is an important part of DIM Group’s expert presence, as well as an opportunity to contribute to shaping the vision for the future of Ukrainian development.
